Enable Location Services for iPhone or iPad

In order for the Eyefi Mobi app to access the photos on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, you must enable Location Services. Photo assets contain information about where the image was taken, which is why Apple requires that applications have explicit permission for location data via Location Services before they can access the photos in the Asset Library.

Enabling Location Services

When first running the Eyefi Mobi app, you will be prompted with a message stating that "You do not have access to the Assets Library."

To allow access to the Assets Library for the Eyefi Mobi app, follow the steps below:

For iOS 7:

  1. Tap the Settings icon on your home screen.
  2. Tap Privacy.
  3. Tap Location Services.
  4. Tap the Location Services slider to On.
  5. You may also need to scroll down to Eyefi Mobi and tap the slider toggle to On.
